Before you book

• Who drives. Only the verified guest may drive, plus one other person if they pass the same identity check before the trip. Anyone else at the wheel is not allowed.
• Getting the car. You pick up the car at the host’s pin. JoyRide does not deliver it.
• Where you can go. You may drive across state lines inside the United States. Do not take the car across an international border. Trip protection applies in the United States only.
• Bring it back. Return the car at the end of the trip. Leaving it is not allowed. An unreturned car can be reported to the police and charged through a claim. JoyRide does not locate the car or send a tow.
• Deposit. A $250 deposit is charged with the trip and released after the trip unless a claim is open.
• Protection. Trip protection is physical-damage help up to the plan cap after the deductible. It is not liability insurance and not a licensed insurance policy. You remain responsible for the auto liability the law requires.
