HOST AGREEMENT
Effective Date: September 20, 2026 Version: 1.0
IMPORTANT NOTICE
This Host Agreement ("Host Agreement") governs the relationship between JoyRide ("JoyRide," "we," "us," or "our") and each person or entity that lists, offers, or makes a vehicle available for booking through the JoyRide marketplace ("Host," "you," or "your").
By creating a Host account, submitting a vehicle for approval, publishing a vehicle listing, accepting a booking, or otherwise participating as a Host on JoyRide, you agree to this Host Agreement.
This Host Agreement supplements and incorporates the JoyRide Terms of Service, JoyRide Privacy Policy, and applicable JoyRide Trip Protection and Platform Protection Terms, each as amended from time to time.
If there is a conflict between this Host Agreement and another JoyRide agreement, the following order generally applies:
- Mandatory applicable law;
- The applicable insurance policy or protection-plan documents;
- A state-specific supplement;
- This Host Agreement;
- The JoyRide Terms of Service; and
- Other general JoyRide policies or guidance.
Nothing in this Host Agreement is intended to reduce or eliminate any right or protection that cannot lawfully be waived.
1. HOST MARKETPLACE RELATIONSHIP
1.1 JoyRide Marketplace
JoyRide operates a peer-to-peer vehicle marketplace that allows vehicle owners and authorized vehicle providers to make vehicles available to Guests.
JoyRide is not the owner of your vehicle solely because you list it on the platform.
Except where expressly stated otherwise, JoyRide does not take possession of, operate, maintain, repair, or control your vehicle.
1.2 Host-Controlled Vehicle
You remain responsible for your vehicle and for ensuring that the vehicle is legally eligible, mechanically appropriate, properly maintained, accurately represented, and lawfully offered through JoyRide.
1.3 Independent Relationship
You are an independent participant on the JoyRide platform and are not an employee, agent, franchisee, partner, joint venturer, or legal representative of JoyRide solely because you participate as a Host.
You may not represent yourself as an employee, officer, agent, or authorized representative of JoyRide unless expressly authorized in writing.
1.4 No Guarantee of Bookings
JoyRide does not guarantee that your vehicle will receive bookings, a particular number of bookings, a minimum utilization rate, or a minimum amount of income.

4.2 Leased or Financed Vehicles
If a vehicle is leased, financed, subject to a lien, or otherwise encumbered, you are responsible for determining whether its lease, loan, financing agreement, insurance policy, or other contract permits peer-to-peer vehicle sharing.
JoyRide does not guarantee that a lender, lessor, insurer, manufacturer, or other third party permits sharing.

5.3 Older Vehicles
Older vehicles may be permitted subject to JoyRide's applicable age, condition, safety, and inspection requirements.

- hide material damage;
- falsely describe the vehicle's age or mileage;
- falsely describe availability;
- misrepresent pickup arrangements;
- falsely claim that a vehicle has a feature it does not have; or

You must promptly update your Listing whenever information becomes inaccurate.
A material change must be disclosed before accepting another Booking.
7.3 JoyRide Review
JoyRide may review Listings for accuracy, safety, compliance, quality, fraud, or other marketplace purposes.

Before each Booking, you must follow JoyRide's applicable vehicle condition documentation process.
This may include photographs or other records showing:

- Excessive trash;
- Strong odors;

You must accurately disclose any vehicle-specific rules.
Hosts may not falsely claim smoking-related damage for the purpose of obtaining payment.
14. PETS AND ANIMALS
You must accurately state any pet or animal restrictions that apply to your vehicle.
Nothing in a Host Listing may override applicable disability-access or other legally protected rights.
JoyRide may establish marketplace rules concerning service animals and assistance animals.
15. VEHICLE KEYS AND ACCESS
You must provide Guests with the access necessary to use the vehicle as described in the Listing.
Unless JoyRide expressly approves another process, the Host is responsible for:
- Providing functional keys;
- Maintaining necessary key fobs;
- Providing required access instructions;
- Ensuring that the Guest can reasonably access the vehicle; and
- Recovering keys or access devices after the Booking when applicable.
You may not knowingly provide a defective or nonfunctional key.
16. VEHICLE LOCATION AND PICKUP
The pickup process must match the Listing.
You must not materially change the pickup location after a Booking without:
- Guest agreement when required; and
- JoyRide approval when required.
You may not direct Guests to an unsafe, illegal, prohibited, or materially different pickup location.

- Sell or transfer the vehicle without resolving affected Bookings; or
- Otherwise knowingly create a conflict that prevents fulfillment of a Booking.

If enabled, Instant Book allows eligible Guests to reserve your vehicle without requiring your individual approval of each Booking.
By enabling Instant Book, you authorize JoyRide to confirm qualifying Bookings according to the criteria and settings applicable to your Listing.
18.2 Host Responsibility
Before enabling Instant Book, you must ensure that:
- Your calendar is accurate;
- Your vehicle is available;
- Your pickup arrangements are workable;
- Your Listing is accurate;
- Your vehicle meets JoyRide's requirements;
- Your pricing is current;
- Your vehicle can reasonably accommodate qualifying Bookings; and
- You can comply with the Booking requirements.
18.3 No Selective Cancellation
You may not cancel an Instant Book merely because you dislike the Guest, dislike the price after booking, prefer another Guest, or otherwise wish to avoid a qualifying Booking.

A Host may request cancellation where permitted by JoyRide for circumstances such as:
- Vehicle safety concerns;
- Mechanical failure;
- Theft;
- Accident;
- Government restriction;
- Fraud or suspected fraudulent activity;

- Pickup requirements; and
- Other objective marketplace settings.
Hosts may not use prohibited discriminatory criteria.

- Reduced marketplace visibility;
- Suspension of Instant Book;
- Listing restrictions;
- Loss of Host privileges;
- Account suspension; or
- Account termination.
Any applicable cancellation fees will be disclosed through JoyRide's applicable fee schedule or Booking interface.

Examples include asking a Guest to:
- Pay cash;
- Venmo you directly;
- Pay through another payment application;
- Book directly with you instead of through JoyRide; or
- Continue a JoyRide Booking outside the Platform to avoid applicable charges.
This restriction does not prohibit lawful transactions that are genuinely unrelated to JoyRide or its marketplace.

Before listing a vehicle, you may be required to provide an insurance attestation or other insurance information requested by JoyRide.
By submitting an insurance attestation, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

- Photographs;
- Witness information; and
- Other reasonably relevant information.

- Ordinary maintenance;
- Mechanical wear;
- Depreciation;
- Loss of use;
- Diminution in value;
- Unauthorized modifications;
- Certain prohibited uses;
- Pre-existing damage;
- Fraudulent claims;
- Losses outside applicable coverage; or
- Other excluded losses.
The actual policy and applicable protection documents control coverage.
