JoyRide fee schedule

Host fee

JoyRide deducts a host fee of 4.5% of the trip price from the host payout. The trip price is the nightly rate (and any delivery fee the host sets) for that booking.

Example: a $110 night pays the host $104.05 after the 4.5% fee ($5.95). Stripe payouts after an eligible trip.

Guest service fee

Guests pay a 12% service fee on the trip price at checkout. It is added to the guest total and is separate from the host fee.

Trip protection

Optional add-ons at checkout. JoyRide self-funds these contractual platform benefits and reviews claims in-house. This is not a state-licensed insurance policy. Full terms are on Trip protection.

• Basic (no platform coverage) — $0. No protection fee. You’re fully responsible for damage, loss, and related costs.
• Standard — $22/night. JoyRide platform protection: up to $25,000 for eligible accidental damage after a $1,000 deductible. Not a licensed insurance policy.
• Premium — $38/night. JoyRide platform protection: up to $50,000 for eligible accidental damage after a $500 deductible, with priority incident support. Not a licensed insurance policy.
